About Eric Daniels
For more than two decades, Eric Daniels worked as an institutional investor, evaluating organizations, leadership teams, governance practices, financial strategies, and long-term sustainability. Through that work, he developed expertise in assessing organizational strength, resilience, stewardship, and the factors that contribute to long-term success.
Through nonprofit board service and leadership roles, Eric gained firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges facing mission-centered organizations. While the specific issues varied from organization to organization, a common pattern emerged: many nonprofits struggled not because of a lack of mission, commitment, or community support, but because the governance, financial discipline, and oversight practices necessary to support long-term sustainability were often underdeveloped.
Mission Steward Advisors was created to help address that gap.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: durable community impact depends upon durable community institutions. Organizations that can withstand shocks, adapt to changing conditions, navigate leadership transitions, and sustain their missions over time are better positioned to create lasting benefit for the communities they serve.
Mission Steward Advisors helps nonprofit leaders and boards strengthen Enterprise Financial Stewardship—the governance, financial discipline, and oversight practices that support institutional resilience, organizational durability, and long-term mission effectiveness.
